Renovation · Interior Design · Property Care — Piemonte, Italy

Renovating a home in Italy from abroad should feel exciting, not impossible.

We help homeowners from the Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland and across Northern Europe buy, renovate and furnish characterful homes in Piemonte — with renovation guidance, interior design and trusted local coordination, on the ground.

We bring Northern-European structure to Italian renovations — and the feel for materials that keeps them soulful.

Design, building knowledge, local communication and a sense of atmosphere, in one team. We plan the work and judge the quality, then translate it on site — in Italian, where the building actually happens.

Why it's hard from a distance

Renovating in another country, in another language, is where good plans quietly slip.

  1. 01Quotes get lost in translation, and small misunderstandings become expensive ones.
  2. 02Budgets shift when the scope isn't clear from the start.
  3. 03It's hard to judge quality and progress from hundreds of kilometres away.
  4. 04The right craftsman is rarely the easiest one to find online.

None of this means it's a bad idea. It means you need someone on your side who knows how building works, here and back home. That's us.

Jennifer Kenters and Boy Marcelis
Experience, brought to Piemonte

Decades in construction. Now rooted in Piemonte.

Between us, we bring more than 40 years of experience in construction, restoration, engineering, project management and interior design.

Before moving to Italy, we spent years working on complex renovation and restoration projects in the Netherlands. Jennifer combines a background in building engineering with interior design and project management. Boy is a trained restoration carpenter and restoration expert, with years of experience managing big construction sites and complex restoration work.

Today, we bring that experience to homes in Piemonte, working with international homeowners, local geometri, contractors and craftsmen to turn ideas into well considered, buildable homes.

  • 40+ years combined experience
  • Engineering + design
  • Restoration + construction
  • Projects in NL + Italy
  • Based in Piemonte

And yes, we are renovating our own cascina too.

It means we also know the Italian process from the other side of the table: making budget decisions, finding the right people, dealing with old buildings and deciding what is worth preserving and where modern comfort matters more.

That combination of professional experience, local knowledge and first hand understanding is what we bring to every project.
